Behind the scenes, the website is having a makeover. Well it’s probably more like it’s gone under the surgeon’s knife and is having full body cosmetic surgery. The website guys showed us a few pages of the new site last week. To say the new site is looking good is and understatement – it’s looking mega. We’re hoping that the new website will be ready mid-end February.

I’ve been thinking of new business cards to compliment all this newness. Take a look at these creative beauties that have inspired us…

Our Pop Up Shop twinkles at night

Have you visited our little pop up shop at Spinningfields, Manchester? It’s a pretty little place when it goes dark and the fairy lights come on.

We are open until 6pm Monday to Friday and also on Saturday & Sunday 11-5. It’s flown by since our opening day and because it’s a Christmas shop, we will only be there until 22nd December 2011. Come ‘pop in’ and say hi

The Tree IS UP

We promised a 3 year old that we would put the Christmas tree up on Sunday after the family viewing of Elf.

Gingerbread scents burning, Elf on, warm mince pies and cinnamon cream. The 3 year old was very giddy to be finally putting her tree up. The bad news was that our tree lights were not working so we had to leave the tree until the next day.

If you have ever tried to reason or explain anything to a 3 year old you will understand this.

Lesson learned: don’t make promises you can not keep.

The tree is up one day later than expected. But my doesn’t it look cosy

Busy is not the word! Last week we moved house & opened a pop up shop in Manchester.

The shop looks fab and we’re very happy to be in the City Centre.

Alongside the oh so fabulous Hey Little Cupcake, Glamourised, Sno Queens and the Oast House. We’re practically neighbours with all the powsh shops on The Avenue. How fabulous. The Avenue looks really fab at night and we’ll post some snaps soon.

We’ve put everything into opening the shop at what is a really busy time and we really hope that it’s going to be a success for us.

We have some very exciting news and the studio is literally buzzing with the news and the preparation that is involved.

We are extremely pleased to announce that Made With Love will be opening a Christmas Pop Up Shop on The lurrverly Avenue at Spinningfields, Manchester next week. Alongside fab shops including Flannels, Oliver Sweeny, Mulberry, All Saints & Donna Karen and of course the amazing Christmas Ice Rink – we’re going to feel right at home there. Our cute cabin selling our handmade Christmas cards & greetings cards as well as a few of our best selling furniture pieces.

Our shop will open on Thursday 24th November 2011 at 10am until 6pm Monday to Friday and will be open at weekends too.

It’s the first time we’ve opened a pop up shop before so we are very excited, nervous too as we don’t know what to expect but really looking forward to the exciting venture.

As it’s a pop up shop, we will only be there until 22nd December 2011 so will be in the city for a limited time only.

We are in the middle of finishing the art work for the outside of the shop and are currently planning the design & layout which we’ll blog about soon.
